- Standard Shipping: For orders below $480.00, shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout. These rates are determined based on the total number & weight of items in your cart and your destination country.
3. Customs, Duties & Taxes (The Important Part)
- Import Responsibility: When you buy from Pashm-e-Chinar, you are the “Importer of Record”.
- Fees: Your package may be subject to VAT, customs duties, and courier handling fees.
- Payment: These charges are not included in your order total at checkout. The courier will contact you via SMS or Email to collect these fees before final delivery, if applicable.
- Refusal: If you refuse a shipment due to unexpected customs charges, the original shipping cost and any return fees will be deducted from your refund.
4. Shipment Tracking
Once your heritage piece leaves the Valley, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can monitor your package’s journey from Kashmir to your home in real-time.
